The lifeboat was scratch built in 1/35-scale wood and styrene.  Lighting is from model railroading and fiber optics. The lifeboat passengers and crew are converted 54 mm figures.  Stars are fiber optics.  The scene depicts lifeboat number one, notorious for launching with only 12 passengers.”
