Lewis Pruneau, who died aged 77 in 2021, was a modeling legend best known for his epic “super-dioramas”—no less an authority than Shep Paine called him “the Cecil B. DeMille of diorama builders”—and for his collaborations with Bob Letterman and Francois Verlinden. Obviously, he also excelled when trying his hand at box dioramas, although we believe these are the only two he produced. (We’d love to see the others if we’re mistaken!)
